Terms of service
[OPERATOR: lawyer review] This whole document is a working draft written for the Appdrop product as built. Have counsel review it, fill in the operating entity and governing law, then bump the terms version on the server so signed-in users accept it again.
The short version
- You launch from your own wallet, and it signs every launch and trade. We never hold your keys.
- Each coin’s creator fees are split when it launches and the split is locked: to the coin’s payout wallet for its app buyers, to the platform, which buys and burns $APPD. The launcher receives no share.
- Payouts go to wallets that bought the coin in the app its launcher picked (the pump.fun app or FOMO), as we read that from public chain data under the rules on How it works. Being paid is not guaranteed.
- Appdrop is not run by, endorsed by or affiliated with pump.fun or FOMO.
1. Acceptance
By using Appdrop (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. What the Service is
The Service lets you launch a coin on pump.fun from your own wallet and pick an app, the pump.fun app or FOMO, whose buyers the coin’s creator fees are paid to. The coin can be paired with SOL or another token pump.fun accepts; holders of a token-paired coin are paid in that token. The app and the fee split are fixed at launch and cannot be changed afterwards. [OPERATOR: lawyer review of the launch flow description]
Coins on the Service are created by their launchers, not by us. We do not vet them, and a coin launched here is not endorsed by us.
3. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you are of legal age and permitted to do so where you live, and you are not subject to sanctions or located in a jurisdiction where its use is prohibited.
4. Wallets and keys
Your wallet is your only account and signs your launches and trades. Its keys stay in your wallet; we never receive them. Each coin’s payout wallet and the platform wallet are wallets held by Privy, which signs for them when our server asks; our server holds no private keys.
5. Payouts to app buyers
- Who is paid. A buy counts only when its transaction carries the public mark of the coin’s app (the pump.fun app’s program, or FOMO’s relayer as a signer). Buys made elsewhere, the launcher’s dev buy and tokens received from another wallet do not earn. Apps can change how they send trades; if one does, its buys may not be recognised until we update the Service.
- How much. Each round splits the coin’s payout wallet by each wallet’s app-bought tokens still held, times time held. Selling or moving tokens lowers or ends a share. Small shares wait for a later round.
- When. Rounds run once a coin’s pot is worth sending. They can be late, paused or smaller than expected. Payouts depend on trading volume and are never guaranteed.
- Checking. Every credited buy and every payout is published on the coin’s rounds page, with its transaction. If you believe a round is wrong, email us with the coin and your wallet.
6. Fees
Every coin launched through the Service locks a pump.fun fee-sharing configuration that pays of its creator fees (shown before you launch) to one Appdrop platform wallet. Of what that wallet receives: The other goes to the coin’s payout wallet for its app buyers. Collecting fees is permissionless: anyone may pay the small network fee to move them to both shareholders. Solana network fees, rent and your dev buy are paid by your wallet when you launch, and a token-paired launch also seeds its payout wallet with a little SOL for network fees.
7. Launches and trades
- Transactions are irreversible once confirmed. You are responsible for every parameter you approve in your wallet.
- The buy and burn of $APPD runs automatically from the platform wallet. It can be late, smaller than expected or paused. Burns and prices are not guaranteed, and holding $APPD or any coin is not a promise of profit.
- Holder lists, balances and prices come from third parties and the chain and can be incomplete or wrong.
8. Availability and data
The Service depends on hosting, RPC providers, pump.fun, Privy (for the platform and payout wallets) and other third parties, any of which can be slow or unavailable. Data shown may be cached, delayed or wrong; check anything that matters on chain. If something looks wrong, email [email protected]. A report does not create a right to compensation.
9. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and only with wallets and coins you control. Do not use it to defraud or mislead anyone, to get around rate limits or access controls, or to attack the Service or other users. We may restrict or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms.
10. Your responsibility
You are responsible for whether your use is lawful where you are, including tax, securities and money-transmission rules, and for any tax on launches, trades and fees.
11. Liability and warranties
The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of funds, including payouts that are late, smaller than expected or not made, funds affected by third-party programs or apps, or losses from outages, bugs or wrong data. Our total liability is limited to USD 10. You agree to indemnify us against any demand, loss or cost arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms. [OPERATOR: lawyer review]
12. Third parties
The Service uses or links to pump.fun, Jupiter, GMGN, DexScreener, Solana RPC providers, wallet providers and Privy (for the platform and payout wallets). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
13. Intellectual property
The Appdrop name, design and code belong to [OPERATOR: legal entity name]. Coin names, symbols and images belong to their creators.
14. Governing law
